Head Lice ! Uggh, What do I do?:
Head Lice are tiny, ( 1/10") parasitic insects without wings, that bite and suck blood from the scalp of the host and lay eggs or nits, on hair strands. For Head Lice infestations, shampoo with coconut oil, or eucalyptus-oil infused shampoo and have a partner comb the hair in sections, removing the nits with a fingernail. Keep the hair wet the entire process to avoid snarls and rips. Repeat this process daily until no more nits are found.
Hands-off, No Spray Head Lice Prevention:
1) Avoid physical contact with infected persons during the treatment period as Head Lice can be spread with great ease. 2) Do not share combs, towels or clothing with an infected person, or for good measure, anytime. 3) Never spray your house with insecticides because as a parasite, Head Lice can only live a short time away from the human body.
