By Lisa Jo Lupo:
I always wanted to be a writer, but when I was a small girl writing poetry in the corner of my room, I never dreamed that one day I would be writing about insects and rodents ... and I would enjoy it! My friends tell me I know much more about cockroaches and mice than any person needs to know, so when I had the opportunity to apply for the position of About.com Pest Control Guide, I jumped at the chance. I look forward to bringing you the "insider" knowledge I have gained through my career, helping you keep pests out of your home - and advising you when it is best to seek professional help. I welcome your comments, suggestions, and questions.
