Got Bats in your British Belfry? Get a License to Remove them or Risk an Unholy Fine

There are seventeen known species of Bats in the United Kingdom and twelve of these are either considered Endangered or Vulnerable by government authorities. Unauthorized removal or disturbing of the animals or their habitat can result in fines of up to £5,000 per bat or occurrence.
